# The composer

> The AI Vids composer: a prompt, a model, a shape, a length of the whole video or of one clip, a start picture and the cost shown before making.

- **Prompt.** What the video shows.
- **Model.** The composer names it. Today usually a Preview.
- **Shape.** 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4, within what the model supports.
- **Length.** Of the whole video, which is filled with the model's longest clips, or of one clip.
- **Start picture.** For picture to video; otherwise the first clip is made from words.

A video is a draft until you press Make video.
